Located at 2142 Rockwell Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114, Spice Spring Restaurant (辛味) | Chinese operates as a chinese restaurant serving Cleveland in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 57 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Cleveland.
Cleveland is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cleveland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Been here a bunch of times and each time the food has been amazing. Not pictured is the dim sum we went through. The soup dumplings are delicious. I usually get the traditional Chinese dishes, but this time I also ordered the general tso to see what that was like and the pieces are almost all chicken with a nice crisp cover; a nice change from other places.

My husband, toddler and I went to Spice Spring for the first time last night (a Wednesday night). The interior is incredible! There are stunning ceiling tiles, artwork, lots of gold, and chandeliers. My baby especially loved the chandeliers. The entire area was very clean as well. There is ample seating, as well as dim sum tables available. The menu is extensive, covering very traditional authentic dishes as well as your recognizable American-Chinese staples. There are even some Thai dishes on the menu! Also to note-the staff members were very friendly with our toddler, and one of the cooks even came out to give her her own fortune cookies! We were very impressed with the dishes we ordered, two entrees and a dessert dish. The portions are served family style, you're meant to share them with whomever you are dining with. We had enough for leftovers for the next day! The dessert dish was not too sweet, and was deliciously savory. My husband's dish (Sichuan style dry pot diced chicken) was served in a bowl heated by a flame underneath-very cool! The chicken was incredible, it was perfectly seasoned and the rest of the dish contained dry red chilies, potato chunks, and sliced garlic.

This place is so good! I came here 2 times this week already hahah Everything was amazing but my favorite was the chive cake, stir fry liver, and egg yolk fried chicken wings. First time I came, food was a little bit on the saltier side. Asked them for less salt and they delivered! Definately coming back! Place looks so elegant inside. Service was fast. I highly recommend

This place is exceptional. They offer an all day dim sum menu, and everything is made fresh in house, which really shows in the quality. The house made soup dumplings (xiao long bao) were outstanding, perfectly delicate, juicy, and packed with flavor. We tried both the pork and the crab and pork, and honestly, they were far better than anything else we’ve had in the Cleveland area. Paired with their spicy chili oil and the classic ginger Chinkiang vinegar sauce, they were incredible. The spicy lamb skewers were such a fun dish, especially since my husband loves extra spice, so we asked for them extra spicy and they were exceptionally delicious. We also tried the truffle dumplings, which were rich and flavorful with a really nice truffle aroma. For dessert, the pumpkin cakes and green tea sesame balls were both delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. The corn and chicken siu mai were also excellent. Honestly, there are so many great options on the menu that it’s hard to go wrong. We will definitely be back. This is going to be our go to spot for authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend. You have to try it. It’s so wonderful doing a different kind of brunch with your family

I recently visited Spice Spring and was absolutely blown away. This new authentic Szechuan spot is exactly what the Cleveland food scene needed, and it has officially claimed the top spot on my list of local favorites. * The Food: The menu offers truly authentic Szechuan flavors that are bold, complex, and perfectly executed. Every dish we tried was incredible, showcasing the perfect balance of spice and depth that you only find in high-quality Chinese cuisine. * The Service: From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and welcoming. The service was amazing throughout the entire meal—fast, friendly, and professional, making us feel right at home. * The Decor: The restaurant's design is wonderful. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the decor, creating an inviting and stylish atmosphere that complements the dining experience perfectly. I stumbled upon this place by accident, but this place exceeded all of my expectations. If you're looking for an exceptional meal in a beautiful setting, you have to check this place out. We had the Yangzhou Fried Rice, Spicy Crispy Fish Fillet, and Spicy Dry Pot Cabbage.
